The Butler's cat is a cat who supposedly belongs to the Butler household but the cat is never seen but there is proof they own one such as in The Used Combination Mabel Butler (the mother of Stan & Olive) trod in the cat's food and had to put her foot back in the bowl of water she was using to put her aching feet in.
It isn't mentioned either what breed of cat it is or his/her name or where they got it from but what can be said is they most likely had it from a pet store or they may have even had it from someone who could no longer have it as for the breed it could either be a Tabby, Ginger, Persian, which are popular breeds.
